No Longer gods

In the beginning, Adam and Eve decided that their own ideas and ways of doing things was better than God’s.  They sat upon their own throne of deciding what was needed and best.  This individualistic mentality has dominated God’s words, plans and will, causing death.  This is the disposition of sin that has ravaged the world and is part of the reason why Jesus came to the earth - to ransom us from this false mentality, this great sin.  Jesus paid for all of sin and invites us to move off of our own thrones of individuality to follow Him, doing His will and putting Him in the highest place.  The battle daily for every believer isn’t to fight sins, but to daily die to sitting upon our own throne - following Him wherever He goes.
