Authority & Responsibility

God could change all of the world in an instant but He chooses not to.  However,  He chooses to move by His Spirit within the hearts of His children to help change the world.  He gives us gifts, skills, talents, power, ability, wisdom.  He then gives us opportunity to take on responsibility, and with responsibility comes authority to make a difference.  Authority over others doesn’t come through giftings, discernment of potential.  Authority comes with the responsibilities that we take on, and if we understand this, it will help us in how we use our gifts and insight and discernment in business, family and church.  Authority over the enemy is given by Jesus to all believers the moment that we meet Jesus but authority over others only comes through the responsibilities or spheres of authority that we have.
