Responding to God

God spoke to Jonah and invited him to be a part of saving over 100,000 lives.  Jonah’s response was to run the opposite way.  Similarly, the “word of the Lord,” comes to us all, inviting us to partner with God in changing and saving lives.  Sometimes the invitation seems too difficult and we ignore the call, only to find ourselves in the trapped inside of things God may use to give us a second chance press through difficulty and discover our purpose.  When we respond to God and do the difficult thing - apologizing for what we’ve said, sharing with wicked people, giving that car away, or doing what we fear, God brings His power to bear and uses us in supernatural ways.  There is no greater adventure than responding to God’s invitations to help others.
