Event Description
Attention all ladies of Awake and beyond! We invite you to join us for Awake's first Women’s Retreat on Saturday, September 19th!
As the Body of Christ, we need joy—“the joy of the Lord is our strength,” and it acts like “good medicine” for the soul.
1 Peter 1:8 reminds us that this lasting, real, and unspeakable joy comes through Jesus Christ alone. This supernatural joy will never run dry, no matter the circumstances of life. It is an overflowing well that will keep you, mark you, and spill out to a lost and dying world around you.
Join us for a fun and joy-filled time of fellowship, worship, dinner, powerful testimonies, encouraging teachings, and prayer ministry.
Feel free to invite your family and friends! Please note that childcare will not be available.

Retreat Speaker
Catherine Whitley
Catherine Whitley is a member of Awake Church, with a passionate heart for the body of Christ, women's ministry, and revival. She has played a significant role in leading and serving at multiple women's retreats and a marriage conference alongside her husband, Mike.
Catherine and Mike have three wonderful children and soon to be 3 children-in-law, with their middle son getting married in October. They cherish spending time with their two beloved granddaughters.
Catherine's life has been radically transformed through years of revival, and she longs to share that same enduring joy that can overflow and change lives. She is excited to convey what the Lord has placed on her heart concerning unspeakable joy and holy exchange.
As proclaimed in Isaiah 61:3, "to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair; they will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor."
