Serving at Awake Church
One of the best ways to get to know others and be known is to serve on one of our ministry teams.
We are so glad that you want to serve with a Ministry Team.
Opportunity Level 1
Level 1 requires that you are a regular attendee*.
*A regular attendee comes two out of the four Sundays.
Opportunity Level 2
Level 2 requires additional prerequisites. Such as attending our Membership Class, becoming a member, regular attendance for 6 months, committing to the teams meetings and trainings, and in some cases, personal Awake Freedom Session.

Level 1 Ministry Teams
Greeter Team
Welcoming people as they come in on Sundays.
Media Team
Running lyric and scripture slides on Sundays and special events.
Camera Operator Team
Manning a camera for the live stream. (NO experience required.)
Photography Team
Capturing still photos for church promotions and social media.**
Hospitality Team
Helping with communion Sundays, and refreshments for classes and fellowship events.
Kids Ministry Team: Assistant
Serving alongside one of our lead teachers, caring for children ages 6 months- 10 years old.**
Kids Check In Team
Helping parents check in children on Sundays. (No direct childcare.)
Awake Young Adults Team: Assistant
Serving alongside the Young Adult Leaders.**
Youth Ministry Team: Assistant
Serving alongside our Youth Leaders, caring for Middle and High School students
Meal Care Team
Preparing and delivering meals to those in seasons of need.
Parking Team
Serving as a Parking lot attendant on Sundays and special events.
Live Art Team
Painting during worship on Sundays.
Host Home for a GT Group
Providing the space for a Get Together leader to facilitate a group.
Outreach Team
Sharing the gospel through evangelism and local outreach opportunities.

Get Together Leader/Facilitator Team
Leading and facilitating a GT group (material provided).
Welcome Center Team
Manning the Welcome Center on Sundays, answering questions, and connecting people with opportunities at Awake.
Coffee Crew Team
Engaging new visitors/taking them out for coffee.
Usher Ministry Team
Welcoming people, helping them get seated, and counting the offering.**
Kids Ministry Team: Lead Teacher
Facilitating the lesson on Sundays, for children ages 2-10 years old.**
Prayer Team
Praying on Sundays following the service.*
Drive Thru Prayer Team
Providing one on one, confidential prayer to the community.*
Prophetic Team
Ministering to others words of encouragement on Sundays following the service.*
Awake Compassion Team
Assisting the emergency needs of our church members, attendees, and visitors.
Dream Interpretation Team
Hearing God's voice through dream interpretation.
Business Prayer & Prophetic Team
Cleansing prayer and prophetic for business owners.*
Mom’s Ministry Team
Serving moms through monthly prayer for mothers and other ministry to families*
Awake Freedom Ministry Team
Ministering to others for Inner Healing (training required).*
*Personal Awake Freedom ministry session required
